Fencing of some kind is essential around your coop and/or chicken yard to keep your chickens in and to keep pests and predators out. pests (mice, rats, snakes, etc. Our coop is almost done and i'm thinking about putting up solar electric fencing around it to keep my 110lb lab (chicken killer) from trying to attack the coop/run....
